FitPro responds to the direct needs of fitness professionals with an all-new venue and format for FitPro LIVE 2016

FitPro LIVE will adopt a revised format in 2016 following a comprehensive educational survey in which thousands of fitness professionals took part. FitPro has responded to the most important point raised by fitness professionals, which is to have high-quality face-to-face education at a venue near them.

FitPro has restructured its approach to real time learning to offer a comprehensive series of events. FitPro will be working collaboratively with other fitness providers to ensure that fitness professionals gain education that is high standard and relevant to their day-to-day business. Most importantly, FitPro’s vanguard and cohesive approach will help set a national standard of excellence across fitness education.

Using intelligence drawn from the FitPro educational survey, the new format will encompass the FitPro LIVE Workshop Series – a series of interactive single-theme workshops and FitPro LIVE 2016 – two two-day multi-theme events.

Each workshop in the FitPro LIVE Workshop Series is dedicated to comprehensive coverage of a subject that fitness professionals have highlighted as essential learning. The FitPro LIVE Workshop Series kicks off in February with Adapting Modern Functional Fitness Tools for the Pregnant and Postnatal Client by Jenny Burrell, the UK’s leading pre- and postnatal expert. Subsequent workshop themes include stress and nutrition, guiding your clients’ behaviour change, Mind & Body and a MOSSA group fitness session.

To make sure all UK PTs and small group instructors have real time opportunities, FitPro LIVE 2016 will take place in two venues on two separate dates. The chosen locations of London and the Midlands are both within easy reach of UK fitness professionals. The London event will take place on 8-9 April at the Novotel London West. Dates and venue for the subsequent Midland event will be released shortly. The two two-day events will have limited spaces to allow all those attending to get quality face-time with presenters.

Both FitPro LIVE events will focus entirely on learning, with seminars, workshops and lectures designed to provide enough CPD points in one event to cover fitness professionals for an entire year. The sessions will provide an excellent gateway to further learning for PTs and those who teach small groups.

Key topics will include a greater focus on business development, with industry-specific advice and evidence-based sessions on nutrition, health and well-being, biomechanics, mobility, functional training and third age from world-class UK and international speakers.
