The Nutrition in Menopause course is the cumulation of the latest research and over 15 years of clinical experience working in woman’s health. The course is designed for trainers who work with peri-menopausal, menopausal or post-menopausal women or for women who are in their own health journey who are interested in using science-based strategies to help them continue to perform and live their best lives.

Aims and objectives of course:

  • Understand what the Menopause is, the stages involved and the key hormones that play a role.
  • Gain an understanding of the health and nutritional challenges associated with the menopause and demonstrate a clear understanding of how nutrition and lifestyle plays an integral role
  • Be able to give general advice to clients on what and when to eat during the menopause.
  • Understand the efficacy of which supplements are effective in the management of the main menopause symptoms.

Dr Linia Patel has a BSc degree in biochemistry and physiology and has recently achieved a PhD in public health. Linia is a leading dietitian and sports nutritionist. Her passion is translating nutritional science into easy-to-digest and practical advice.
