Female Breathing: More Joy, Less Fog

Learn to significantly improve breathing to enhance everyday life as well as improve sports performance, mental clarity and inner confidence whilst reducing the effects of brain fog. A course of 4 modules - the first three aimed at anyone wanting to learn as much as they can about Female Breathing for their own everyday lives and a fourth optional module for those who want to use all they’ve learned in a teaching setting with clients.

Prerequisite

  • CIMSPA: Level 2

Aims and objectives:

  • Understand & apply the fundamentals of functional breathing pattern training
  • Learn how and why to simulate high altitude training
  • Develop a personal sense of grounding, joy and inner confidence in everyday life
  • Understand the theory of light, slow and deep breathing and how to apply these to breathing
  • Embed breathing exercises into everyday life to lower stress and increase connection in the moment
  • Gain an understanding of breathing knowledge and techniques specific to females for personal use and to apply professionally with clients (module 4)
  • Learn how to weave breath training into classes or sessions you may teach others (module 4)

  • Kelly Hopkinson

    Kelly Hopkinson is an experienced and well-regarded breath coach, yoga teacher, and wellness advocate known for her work in promoting holistic self-care through breath training, mindfulness, and functional movement. She is certified as an advanced Oxygen Advantage Breathing instructor and uses her biochemistry, meditation, and physiology knowledge to help individuals optimise their overall health, happiness and well-being.

    Kelly transitioned into wellness after experiencing burnout as a Primary School Teacher. She now combines her expertise with her personal experiences to inspire others to embrace self-care in everyday life, improving mental clarity, reducing stress, and evoking joy and happiness. Through her business, BE:WELL CLUB, Kelly offers workshops, retreats, and training courses that focus on creating sustainable self-care practices that feel good for the body and mind.

    In addition to teaching yoga and breath training classes, workshops and retreats, Kelly has been a TEDx speaker and coaches well-being in the workplace for a variety of companies, including Aston Martin Formula One and YMCA. Kelly strives to use all she knows to help others feel enough and to fall in love with their everyday lives.
