{"id":6087,"date":"2014-12-10T15:32:20","date_gmt":"2014-12-10T15:32:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fitproblog.mysites.io\/van-gogh\/"},"modified":"2014-12-10T15:32:20","modified_gmt":"2014-12-10T15:32:20","slug":"van-gogh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fitpro.com\/blog\/van-gogh\/","title":{"rendered":"Van Gogh makes tracks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Totally unique and sparking design originality, the Van Gogh-Roosegaarde cycle path welcomed visitors in Eindhoven in the Netherlands for the first time on 12 November.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the world-famous painting \u2018Starry Night\u2019, after dark visitors fully experience the amazing design and colour of the glowing stones. Alongside the artist Daan Roosegaarde, Heikmans developed the technology to illuminate the path.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>The cycle path forms part of the Van Gogh cycle route that connects the Vincent van Gogh heritage locations in Brabant, van Gogh\u2019s homeland. Since last month, the cycle path has linked the two watermills, bridging the gap between contemporary design, innovation, cultural heritage and tourism in Brabant.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Following the completion of the cycle path, the area of Brainport East will gain the impetus to develop as a country park.
