An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a business development executive to join the team.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding financial sales targets and maximising all sales opportunities, we are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our global sales team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability within a sales environment to maximise both commercial and non-commercial relationships in the areas of product, equipment sales and training services.
The successful candidate will be a polished sales professional with the confidence to build business relationships at all levels. You will have a strong personality and WANT to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Sell within agreed rates and contract structures to meet and exceed sales targets
- Support the global commercial sales manager with sales initiatives and promotional activity
- Maintain an organised administration system for sales contacts and maintain accurate records
- Meet and exceed KPIs
Key skills
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build working relationships
- Strong sales skills, including demonstrable telesales abilities
- Ability to analyse and utilise data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
- Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft word, excel and outlook
- Good numeric skills and understanding of financial targets and budgets
- Confident, outgoing, diplomatic and approachable
- Flexibility to cope with variation in workload and tasks, prioritising accordingly
- Ability to work under pressure and to established deadlines
- An interest in health and fitness would be considered an advantage
