Credit Control Assistant

Salary: £21,500 per annum

The position:


The Credit Control Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accounts Manager with collection targets and minimising outstanding debts. The Credit Control Assistant is also responsible for reconciliation of credit card reports. Other responsibilities will include:


• Effectively supporting the credit control team regarding debt collecting and liaising with other internal departments to source relevant information
• Dealing with and resolving customer-related queries and ensuring database is kept up to date
• Providing administration support within the credit control department
The Credit Control Assistant will have previous experience of working within a similar role and will demonstrate excellent administration and communication skills. The successful candidate is a strong team player who is committed towards delivering a highly efficient service to internal and external clients.

Magazine Editor Fitpro Network

Salary: £22,500 per annum

Are you an experienced magazine editor or ambitious assistant editor with a passion for fitness?

Fitpro Network blends sports science, personalities and personal training with insider info from the heart of the fitness industry. The publisher, FitPro, is the world’s largest association of fitness professionals, with a raft of print and online media, and we’re looking for someone who can jump into the driving seat of this bi-monthly magazine and push it up a gear.

You’re happiest at the helm of a print title, can turn out great copy, know instinctively what works on the page and have tonnes of ideas, inspirations and contacts relevant to an established title aimed at personal trainers and trainers.

Key skills


• Experience in managing copy flow for print titles
• Experience in a key role in developing a print title
• Writing and editing copy for a range of audiences in both print and online publications across news, features and research articles (b2b and/or consumer)
• A demonstrable involvement and interest in the sport, leisure and fitness industry
• Existing contacts across relevant industries and the confidence to expand these
• Experience working with designers to create high-quality page layouts and to source appropriate pictures
• Impeccable editorial and proofreading skills; a good eye for detail
• A flair for spotting and developing good writing in others
• Ability to work flexibly and under pressure to meet copy deadlines
• Ability to build and manage fruitful relationships with contributors and colleagues
• The skills to write a variety of article types, ranging from news releases to full-length features
• Creativity with a strong fund of ideas, initiative, energy and vision

Salary:OTE £30,000 per annum (basic £20,000 pa plus commission)

The Position:

An exciting position is now available at Fitness Professionals Ltd (FitPro). Responsible for maximising partner and sponsorship opportunities with a variety of high profile sporting brands, the Partnership Executive will assist with the planning, development and execution of sponsorship strategy.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a proven ability within a sales environment, a track record of success in account/client management, and experience in and around trade events.

The successful applicant will be confident, outgoing and approachable, skilled at building positive working relationships at all levels and will possess excellent negotiation skills. You will have a strong personality and WANT to succeed in a fun, fast paced working environment.
