The Youth Sport Trust believes passionately in using the power of sport to improve the lives of young people, focusing on creating a world-leading PE and sport system that reaches, inspires and engages all young people, whatever their age or ability. The Youth Sport Trust encourages children to do more PE and sport by developing different ways of getting them interested and involved. Their programmes have been developed in conjunction with a wide range of partners.
FitPro is working in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust to combine its innovation with the trust's developmental work, which in turn can look to inspire and encourage pupils to participate in sport through Fitclubs's four programmes - teamenergy, teamjam, teampower and teamcombat. FitPro previously supported projects including the Girls Active Campaign, a programme designed to empower teenage girls to enjoy more sporting activity on their own terms, making positive choices and being given a voice.
| "teamjam and teamcombat
helped make a positive impact across the programme and its principles
continue to inspire and encourage across PE and sport." Sue Barratt, Head of Corporate Relations, Youth Sports Trust |
