We were looking for a way of really making a difference in the way that our staff engaged with our customers and BEE is making that difference. We are now well into our first year of the programme. Feedback from staff has been good, and they are starting to think about the impact their attitude and behaviour has on the customer experience. And not only has the programme had an impact on the level of customer service staff deliver but it's also improved the confidence and skills of our BEE coaches.

Knowsley MBC is a forward-thinking council with regards to new and exciting ways to achieve business excellence, hence why we decided to incorporate the mindset of the BEE programme.
We at Knowsley are in our very first stages of implementing the programme; however, from the initial training our BEE coaches have undergone, there certainly is a buzz about the place.
"This is what one of our BEE coaches said after the initial first two days of training: 'The BEE training was great; I really enjoyed the course and found it interesting, being made aware of a lot of skills I possess but do not always necessarily put into use in work but will do in future.
