Getting qualified
The course has two core components:
For your fitness team
The interactive coaching programme involves two modules lasting two days each, which include the following:
- Effective communication: Verbal and non-verbal
- Influencing and coaching skills
- Goal-setting and taking personal responsibility
- Exercise prescription and periodisation for weight loss
For managers
A total of three one-day management modules providing:
- Foundation skills for managing a fitness department
- Understanding the process of change
- Goal-setting for success
- Supporting and coaching staff effectively
As part of the management training, managers will also complete the Certificate in Health and Fitness Management course on PTontheNet.com The core components run alongside each other to ensure that managers are able to integrate learning into their day-to-day roles.
Ongoing education
10 Minute Gym™ exercises are updated every six months and new coaching techniques provided at follow-up workshops. Your members don’t get bored and your trainers stay motivated and excited about their personal and professional development.
